I am a 30-something graphic designer living in Baltimore. Wow, that makes me sound old. I am a newly 30-something graphic designer, Baltimore born and bread. If you have never been to Baltimore, its quite the culture shock; home of John Waters, crab cakes, and lacrosse. Think old school preppies with a weird urban edge.

On my 30th birthday I quit my job in communications to finish up my M.F.A. in graphic design and start my own design firm. With my newly found freedom, I started The Preppy Life, my musings and observations on life, preppy style, and the occasional typographic rant. One part humor and two parts opinions of a design-obsessed preppy girl.
