Motivation is Magic

Today marks the beginning of my marathon training. I ran my fastest 5 miles in months. I’m not sure if it was due to the cold weather or the fact I’m going to Disney World in 14 weeks but I was full of energy on a gray Sunday morning. It’s wonderful to have a workout goal again, especially something fun like running the Disney World Marathon.

I have never been to Disney World, so I am super excited. I made my first trip to Disneyland in March and it was much better than I expected,  I even met Mickey and Goofy.  I’m a pushover for the kiddie rides and animatronics. I could have spent all day on Small Small World and eating pineapple ice cream in the Enchanted Tiki Room. I would love to splurge on a fancy hotel like the Disney Yacht Club or Boardwalk Inn, but I’m looking at the cheapest options since this whole trip is a complete whim. I’m just wish that I could spend more time in the parks. Saturday will be a travel day, Sunday the race, and Monday I will be taking some much-needed Advil and hobbling through the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Do you think the extra $50 for the Park Hopper ticket is worth it? If you had one day to spend at the parks where would you go?
