Thanks for your kind words! There are so many preppy places to live that its hard to pinpoint the preppiest location. Preppy cities and towns are typically affluent areas on the east coast such as Nantucket, Massachusetts, Annapolis, Maryland, and Charleston, South Carolina. Preps are known for being clean-cut and are often spotted wearing classically-styled clothes in the summer like pastel polo shirts and madras shorts and skirts. Lilly Pulitzer, Tommy Hilfiger, Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren, Vineyard Vines, and Lacoste are just a few of the preppy brands.
Preps typically like to play sports such as lacrosse, field hockey, sailing, tennis, golf, and crew, and socialize at the local country club. For more information about being a prep, check out Prep Essentials and Preppy Style 101.
