Dear Preppy Girl,

My boyfriend is all around perfect, except he has terrible shoes; beat-up mariachi sandals from a trip to Cozumel, a pair of Bucks that I swear he has been wearing since 9th grade, his dad’s old wingtips, Doc Marten boots, the list goes on and on. Sometimes I think he hasn’t bothered to go shoe shopping since 1999. I am not up to date on men’s shoes. Can you suggest a few pairs for my boyfriend?

Dear Carter,
It sounds like your man is having back luck in the shoe department. I suggest you take him shoe shopping ASAP! If you like whales and madras prints, Vineyard Vines has a great selection of flip-flops. Boat shoes and loafers (tassels optional) are a must! Sperry has a great selection of both.
